I always marvel at the magic transformation one little detail can do a simple outfit.

Less is more and simple is often a sure bet.

Today I am getting dressed in a hurry for a long work day, that means I will grab a comfy casual dress and don a pair of extravagantly elegant sneakers to match.

But it is late spring and warm and fresh evening means that once the workday is over, I will enjoy play time with friends and a couple of drinks at some cool central venue.

So with one magic touch I will make my outfit just a touch more fabulous - adding a heavy necklace that enhances the simple beauty of the outfit in the best way possible

Busy modern woman with a long day that is cut into little segments of "to do" with some fun planned for later. And no time to go back for changing! Life is too short and so much fun to be had.

A little trick that I love - choose an outfit that is surprisingly easy to dress up and down, matching to the office and play-time styles.Combine with an oversize bag, so you could stuff the necessary accessory in it for a quick re-do. And there you go.

So my staple today is a pair of gray shorts with large front pockets.

I  have been scrolling through the Met Gala Photos all week in my coffee time.

As they warmer days happen more often, it is time to bring out my sunshine fashion, as I call it.
Light tank tops and skirts, loose dresses and sexy sandals, your time has come.

And as they require showing off my arms and legs in abundance, rigorous adherence to my workout schedule is paramount. The greatest thing is that when the day is longer and filled with sunshine, I have more energy and desire to do things, and there is no point to waste that effort in the closed space.


I am going out in the open and today I will start with a light jog. A morning jog or a brisk walk, some mornings a yoga stretch in the park wakes me better than a triple coffee. This is how I am going to start my days now.

And the weekend is upon us, I am definitely going for some hiking in the mountain. Long and fulsome trekking in the lush greenery, followed by pick nick with my gang, rolling on the grass and laughing while nibbling on sandwiches.



And, no kidding, it is time to update my workout gear. No need to slum it, I want to look my best at all times. Some sexy leggings and cool print T-shirt will do the trick. Soft, tight and trendy.

Starting the day with a bang in a fashion workout ensemble, that will put me in the dressing up mood all week.

I definitely think a bag is one of the most game-changing accessories every invented.

If I had been born in the ancient ages before bags came into being, I might have invented them myself.

I have repeatedly to try and get through the day without a big bag and guess what, I end up with pockets filled with stuff, looking like hamster's cheeks. So yes, this is the accessory I can not do without.
I am particularly fond of the oversize extravagant beauties that gibe me the chance to put away a cardigan and all of my makeup items, and even a pair of flat shoes when necessary.

A bag that is beautiful, versatile and, able to hold many girly things, while still looking stylish and enhancing an outfit, is a true find. It is both a work of art and a convenient daily tool.

I scroll through the list of events that require my precious attention.  An afternoon art exhibition opening catches my eye. This is a perfect venue, where I can walk hand in hand with my beau, looking at paintings and works of art under the blossoming trees.



What do I go for - sultry siren or girlish chic? How about I do both.

First, a quirky jumpsuit sounds like the right choice. It is sexy and very comfy. Maybe the short one?

Once it gets dark, of course, dance is in order, so garments that twirl and swish and do not get in the way. A combination of off the shoulder gypsy blouse and shorts, very summer like, is what I go for.

Meanwhile the sun is high up and the wind is hushed. I have a special mood boost when I choose a party outfit.
It is a form of creation and I am my personal artist.

A woman has many faces: the girl, the working independent woman, the seductive lover, the housewife,...
And in one day I might have to play all of them. So I have to  dress accordingly. Starting with today.

What to go for?
Mornings are cool, but the spring sun is begging for a dress. A comfy sporty number grabs my attention.

I have a busy workday in a youthful office, where I will probably spend the day having meetings with colleagues and  customers, jumping in and out of heated discussions, tapping frantically on the computer, may be sweating a little, while  chasing a deadline, then going out for lunch in the neighborhood...and repeat in the afternoon.


Wearing it, I will be as charming as a girl, with a an easy-chic innocence, while the free shape and casual nonchalance of the dress will let me be as productive as ever in my workday environment...and I know that my boyfriend, when he comes and picks me up for lunch, will appreciate it.
